Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the JD Vision website, customer portal, products, software, pre-order services, unit registration, updates, and related support offered by JD Vision, operated by JDKustomz (“JD Vision,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account, placing an order, registering a unit, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use our services. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for protecting your password, Google account, and other sign-in credentials and for activity conducted through your JD Vision account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Products, pre-orders, and availability

Product descriptions, specifications, compatibility information, pricing, estimated production dates, and delivery estimates may change as development and manufacturing progress. A pre-order reserves a place in the applicable production batch but does not guarantee a particular delivery date. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, payment is due in full when the pre-order is placed.

Orders remain subject to availability, payment approval, fraud review, shipping limitations, and our right to reject or cancel an order. If JD Vision cancels a paid order that cannot be fulfilled, we will provide the applicable refund. Customer-requested cancellations and returns are governed by the policy disclosed at purchase and applicable law.

Vehicle compatibility and installation

You are responsible for confirming that a JD Vision product, dash bezel, wiring configuration, sensor, interface, and software version are appropriate for your specific vehicle and intended use. Vehicle configurations can vary by model, trim, production date, prior modification, and installed equipment.

Installation should be performed by a qualified person using proper automotive electrical and mechanical practices. Disconnect power and follow vehicle and product instructions before installation or service. Do not operate, configure, or troubleshoot the display while driving. JD Vision products must not be used in a way that blocks required warning indicators, interferes with safe vehicle operation, or violates applicable law.

Software, themes, and updates

Subject to these Terms, JD Vision grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use included JD Vision software and authorized themes with the associated JD Vision unit. The software, designs, themes, graphics, documentation, trademarks, and other JD Vision content remain the property of JD Vision or their respective licensors.

Software and theme updates may add, modify, or remove features, correct problems, improve compatibility, or address security. Some updates may be required for continued support or access to connected services. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, bypass access controls, or reverse engineer JD Vision software except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, portal, accounts, activation codes, unit identifiers, software, or services. Prohibited activities include attempting unauthorized access; interfering with security or service operation; uploading malicious code; impersonating another person; using another customer’s unit or activation information; scraping or automating access without permission; and using JD Vision services for unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent, or abusive activity.

Third-party services

JD Vision may use or link to third-party services, including Google and Firebase for authentication and cloud services and Square for payment processing. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies. JD Vision is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Intellectual property

JD Vision names, logos, software, themes, layouts, product designs, text, graphics, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of JD Vision intellectual property. Vehicle names, manufacturer marks, and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners; references may be used only to describe compatibility.

Service changes and account suspension

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue part of the services when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, product development, or business operations. We may restrict or terminate access when an account violates these Terms, creates a security or safety risk, or is used fraudulently. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the website, portal, software, and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, universal vehicle compatibility, or that every requested feature or theme will be released. Any written product warranty provided with a purchased product remains subject to its stated terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, JD Vision and JDKustomz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the services or products. Our total liability for a claim relating to a particular purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that purchase, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas, unless applicable law requires a different location or process.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as our products, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use of the services after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
